Namrata is a communications strategist and advisor supporting MISAFF Festival Director Arshad Khan on the festival’s communications, audience engagement and partnership efforts. She works across the festival to strengthen how MISAFF presents its programme, filmmakers and broader cultural impact to audiences, partners and supporters.

For MISAFF 2026, her work spans festival positioning and messaging, digital and web strategy, audience communications, partnership outreach and fundraising support. She works closely with the Festival Director to translate an ambitious international film programme into accessible stories and experiences that help audiences discover films, understand what makes the festival distinctive and find their way into the programme.

Namrata brings nearly two decades of communications experience across arts and culture, international development, nonprofit organizations and global initiatives. Her work focuses on helping mission-driven organizations understand their audiences, articulate why their work matters, and turn that understanding into communications that build participation, relationships and long-term support.
